This historic farmhouse looks out high above a wonderful south-facing garden reached from the terrace by stone steps. The lawn was kept large for family use and was surrounded with sweeping mixed perennial borders, encircled at the far end by a pretty, rope rose arbour and bench. A box edged parterre with 'step-over' apples, vegetable beds and picking garden were installed on the periphery of the main lawns with a small woodland walk and orchard leading off.
